Breeders' Stakes Predictions
Mighty Heart has tackled every obstacle so far and should do so again on Saturday. He had a bullet workout on the grass just days ago, October 17. He will attempt to be Canada's 13th Triple Crown winner, and the first since Wando in 2003. Only Wonder Gadot since then has been in the running to win, and she bypassed the last leg in favour of a race at Saratoga.
Breeders' Stakes Handicapping
Mighty Heart has three wins in six starts and has already won on both dirt and synthetic tracks. The son of Dramedy is trained by veteran trainer Josie Carroll and will be ridden by the upstart jockey Daisuke Fukumoto. He has flourished as the races have gotten longer, and at his best will be much too good for this field.
His stablemate Belichick offers value at 7-2 and has incredible turf breeding. Although still a maiden, he was second in the Queen's Plate at odds of 26-1 and should like both the surface and distance.
Trainer Mark Casse is always dangerous at Woodbine, and especially in stakes races. He has two horses in the race, Deviant and Muskoka Giant. Deviant finished last in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf (G1) last year, but was a stakes winner on the grass in Louisiana and will be making just his third start of 2020 here.
He was seventh on the main track in July, his last start, but the son of Daredevil likes the turf better. Daredevil is having a big year as the sire of 2020 Preakness Stakes heroine Swiss Skydiver. Muskoka Giant drew outside the field of 12. The son of Curlin is out of a Giant's Causeway mare and cost $350,000 as a yearling. He broke his maiden on the grass here ahead of today's rival Enchant Me, then was fifth in the Prince of Wales last out on the dirt. The return to turf should help.
Enchant Me is one of two horses in here, along with Belichick, with incredible turf breeding. The son of Magician is out of a Giant's Causeway mare. Although he appears overmatched here, he ran his best race ever last out speed figure wise and prefers the turf.
Another horse with strong turf form is Told It All, who steps up from claiming company three back. He won the Elgin Stakes for Ontario-breds two back on the main track, then ran the best race of his life when fifth in the Toronto Cup, beaten less than five lengths. Norm McKnight trains the son of Big Screen.

Woodbine Betting Tips
It is important to remember when playing the horse races at Woodbine that trainer Mark Casse always does very well. He has two runners in the 2020 Breeders' Stakes and should not be ignored, as this is his home track and he wins major races all over the world.
Top riders such as Rafael Hernandez and Patrick Husbands are also dangerous, especially in a race where so many young riders are present and looking for their first big wins. The Attard family would also like to get a big win here, and they have two shots with Clayton and Olliemyboy.
